Primary Care LPN/CMA needed in Aitkin, MN

Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Participates in team huddles to ensure team and patient needs are met.
• Provides patient care through gathering patient data, medication administration and checking vital signs.
• Applies knowledge of age-related factors in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies and procedures.
• Supports the rooming process for patient care needs.
• Support documentation and orders under the director of medical provider.
• Ensures clinic rooms are prepared, and clinic supplies are appropriately stocked.
• Support day-day clinic needs.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent. Previous clinic experience preferred. Proficient computer skills are necessary.

Licenses/Certificates/Registrations
Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota or a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
