Family Nurse Practitioner

Job description

Under the direction of the Physician Supervisor, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides health care
services to patients who may have acute episodic conditions or chronic problems, as well as those
seeking health evaluation, preventive care and/or education and counseling. The NP also works
closely with Health Center/Clinic Manager to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality
patient care.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical
Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook,
Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
• Two (2) years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
Current California Registered Nurse License
• Current and unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner License
• Board of Registered Nurses Certification Furnishing Number issued by
California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current and unrestricted Controlled Substances Registration
Certificate from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Valid California Driver’s License, proof of auto liability insurance and
clean driving record

  • Regular work , 4O hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, some clinics are open on Saturdays
  • Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 2 years minimum work experience
