Physician Assistant

Job description

We have 3 open requisitions:
Oceanside, San Marcos and a Float position traveling with stipend.

Under the direction of the Physician Supervisor, the Physician Assistant (PA) provides health care
services to patients who may have acute episodic conditions or chronic problems, as well as those
seeking health evaluation, preventive care and/or education and counseling. The PA also works
closely with Health Center/Clinic Manager to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality
patient care.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or equivalent experience
• Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program approved by the California
Physician Assistant Board.
• National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
• Completion of a Controlled Substances Education Course.
• Two (2) years’ experience as a Physician Assistant
Current and unrestricted California Physician Assistant License
• Current and unrestricted Controlled Substances Registration
Certificate from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Valid California Driver’s License, proof of auto liability insurance and
clean driving record
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on
Certification Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers

  • Regular
  • Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 2 years minimum work experience
