We are seeking a certified Locum Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice to join our team in Fortuna, CA. Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including medical history, physical examinations, and the ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of practice.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medication management and preventive health measures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and support staff, to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Family Practice.
Active and unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.
Experience working in an outpatient Family Practice setting is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in using Epic EMR or the ability to quickly adapt to electronic medical record systems.
