Job description

Variable Shift Times: M-F shifts 8a-5pm; Saturday, Sunday and Holiday 9-5; variable shift days
8 hour shift (w/ 1 hour lunch - unpaid)

10-12 patients per day
Ages 30+ (all adults/geri)
Support Staff: Admin, Care Manager, Front Desk, Referral coordinator and 3 MA's.
EMR = AllScripts

Requirements:
Board Certification required (can be in any medical specialty)
2 years of experience in a Family Practice setting required**
Clean/clear FL license
DEA
Background check + drug test required if selected to hire

MISC Job Duties & Expectations:
- Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
- Orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviation from normal.
- Orientation and training of new practitioners when necessary.
- Supervision of midlevel practitioners when appropriate and abide by all associated rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of computerized information systems used in business applications and clinical management systems (EMR).
- Knowledge of relevant drugs and their chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo.
- Knowledge of non-pharmaceutical patient care aids, their applicable uses, and relevance to patient care.
