Job description

Primary care provider needed for full-time coverage with Federal corrections facility
FM/IM/GP

• 3-days/week, 8-hour days
• 6-month contract and available for extension
• BLS
• Any state license accepted
• Roughly 6-8 week credentialing period but moving along faster


SCOPE OF WORK
• Take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
• Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications from facility formulary
• Clinically manage injuries by basic suturing, splinting, and immobilizing
• General sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage
• Provider must use facility EMR, training will be provided
