Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Family Practice/ Internal Medicine Physician to support the Claremore Indian Hospital in support of Indian Health Services (IHS) to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level and assure that comprehensive, culturally acceptable personal and public health services are available and accessible to members of the 574 federally recognized Tribes across the United States. ** Sign-on bonus included. **
Responsibilities: Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans and recommendations for patients seen.
Recommend and refer patients to other Indian Health Service providers. The number of patients to be seen shall be an estimated 20 per 8 hour work day. Electronically document services utilizing the appropriate electronic medical record system for patient encounters; complete all required administrative paperwork within 24-hours of patient visit. Provide consultation to the Hospital Emergency Department health care providers on an as needed basis. Provide physician service and staff urgent care clinic, as needed. Complete all annual training required by the Clinical Director and IHS/HHS policies Family practice physicians. Provide services to eligible beneficiaries of the Indian Health Service who present themselves for treatment. Must be Board Certified in or Board Eligible in Family Practice. Permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Shifts are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00pm., Monday through Friday, onsite at the Claremore Indian Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma
