About the clinician's workday

The physician will provide comprehensive family medicine care to adolescent and young adult patients ages 11-25 in a correctional facility environment, managing approximately 10 patients daily. The clinician will work 20-24 hours per week with flexible scheduling options of either two 10-hour shifts or three 8-hour shifts, with no call requirements. The position requires BC or BE certification or GP status, BLS certification, DEA registration, and Washington state license, with preference for candidates having 2+ years of experience and willingness to accept pediatric or family medicine providers. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, managing medical conditions, and collaborating with security personnel, medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure quality healthcare delivery within the specialized correctional healthcare setting.
