-The psychiatrist will also provide consultation and expert testimony as required. The TEP Psychiatrist will conduct face-to-face evaluations, both via video teleconference and in person as needed, review relevant records, and prepare a report documenting their findings within established timelines.
• Regarding anticipated hours, we expect the need to be around 20-40 hours per week. Scheduling can be flexible to a degree, allowing the physician to choose their hours, but it's important that these hours are completed during the regular work week (Monday through Friday).
• For physical locations, our main office is at the Hall of Justice at 330 W. Broadway, downtown. That said, there may be times when the psychiatrist needs to visit one of the jail facilities across the county for evaluations.
• As for remote work, while much of the work can be accomplished via video, there are occasions that require in-person presence. Examples include court testimony or jail evaluations when the defendant cannot be seen virtually.
