Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an assignment in south central Alaska, providing both clinic and endoscopy coverage within a supportive, team-based practice.

Assignment Details
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical and procedural coverage
• Schedule: Clinic and endoscopy days
• Patient Volume:
– Clinic: 10–12 patients per day
– Endoscopy days: ~15 total procedures per day

Work Details
• Scope of Practice: General Gastroenterology
• ERCP/EUS: Not required (handled by general surgeons)
• EMR/Charting: Cerner
• Support Staff: 2 RNs, 2 schedulers, 2 CMAs, and 1 APP

Requirements
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Experience: General GI experience required
