Job description

We are working with a hospital less than 2 hours of Des Moines, IA that is needing a GI for coverage:

Specialty: GI
Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
Start Date: ASAP - ongoing
Requirements: BC GI or TBE, IA license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, ACLS
Pay: $275/hr + travel/lodging + malpractice insurance
Schedule: 1-4 weeks/month…Mon-Fri…8 hr shifts…3-4 days/wk procedures and 1-2 day/wk clinic
Call: no
Patient Load/Age: 8-10 cases per day
Procedures: general GI…50/50 mix of mainly ANES and Conscious sedation…No ERCP or EUS
EMR: EPIC
COVID vax needed: yes
Credentialing timeframe: 30 – 45 days
