Gastroenterologist Needed in IA

Job description

I have a client in Cedar Rapids, IA seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist for locum coverage starting in August. Please see a few details below:

Contract Length: 3+ months with option to extend
Shift Details: 1 week out of 6 weeks; Monday-Friday with weeknight and weekend call
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; weeknight and weekend call; 1/6 weeks

Work Details:
• Patients per day: 12-18 per day depending on cases
• Patient population/age: 18+
• Department description: Gastroenterology
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 238 – Level III trauma
• Special procedures: Advanced GI preferred but not required. ERCP would be a HUGE plus for them.

Practice Setting:
• Hospital – clinic based at the hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, must be certified in gastro
• State license required: Yes
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: Yes
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: 1+ years

Credentialing Timeframe: 6 - 8 Weeks
