Locum tenens coverage is sought to address weekend gastroenterology staffing needs.

About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide 24-hour weekend call coverage at this inpatient facility, with shifts running from Friday at 7:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM. Clinical responsibilities are limited to general gastroenterology; ERCP and EUS are not required for this assignment. The clinician will perform emergency scopes only, with no scheduled procedures. Anesthesia support is available on-site, and the gastroenterologist will serve as the sole GI clinician during assigned coverage periods. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
