Job Title: Locum Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Cal
Board Status: Certified and Eligible
EMR: McKesson and Athena
Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
Patients Per Shift: up to 12 for procedures. Less inpatient

DETAILS:
• Need for MI licensed provider to cover June 3-10
• Monday – Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM: 24-hour call.
• This applies to the first assignment. If the locum will be returning on a frequent/consistent basis, the following schedule will apply as the department will utilize the locum for scheduled outpatient procedures on the weekdays:
• Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM regular onsite hours, followed by 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM night call.
• Locum providers will be required to review all of their pathologies and complete the line of work by communicating with the nurses the letters they want to send their patients with results and follow-up recommendations.
• The site is looking for complete block coverage. They will only consider providers with full availability of the dates needed and not partial.

 Propofol
• Well-established, highly accomplished Endo Unit team
• Average 12 patients per day
