Gastroenterology MD needed in NE - Willing to license

Job description

· Typical day starts at 8:30AM for scheduled Colonoscopy/Endo cases
· Normal on-site day is around 6-8 hours on site
· Callback rate starts after 8 hours
· What will the weekly schedule look like for this need? 24hr call, no clinic. Screening endo procedures M-F beginning at 8am

Work Details:
· Inpatient only
· Will the provider have support form Anesthesia, or will they need moderate sedation privileges? Yes, we have anesthesia support
· Is rounding involved? Yes, average of 2 hours daily
· Will the locum be doing any outpatient procedures if they are doing only inpatient work? Yes, there will be aprox 8-10 endo procedures scheduled for screenings
· Procedures/Cases: General GI required, ERCP strongly preferred but not required, No EUS
· Support Staff: 1 APP will be seeing the clinic patients while our full time GI physician is out
· EMR: Epic
