GI Locums - Clinic Only - Eastern North Carolina

Job description

Seeking a board certified Gastroenterologist to provide locums clinic coverage at a practice located in eastern North Carolina. Providers will need to come in day before first shift for orientation

* Coverage Needed: As soon as credentialed – ongoing 
* Details: Locums will be in clinic setting with other providers – seeing new GI consults
* Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 am- 5 pm in clinic setting
* If not available 5 days, will accept Mon/Wed/Friday (preference is 5 days in a row)
* Outpatient only
* No call
* Avg. Volume daily: 15-20 office visits per day
* No Critical Care ICU Duties
* Not required to serve back-up in ER
* Certifications required: BLS & ACLS
* Thirteen exam rooms
* Staff Support – 5 attending, 7 fellows, 1 np/pa, 3 OP nurses
* Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered by the hospital 
* EMR=EPIC
