Physician - Gastroenterology - Lewisburg, PA

Job description

📋 SCHEDULE:
• 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM coverage blocks)
• Weekday shifts (8 hours/day)
• Procedures: ~7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Wed–Fri, occasional Monday)
• Afternoons: inpatient rounding + consults
• Clinic: occasional half-day sessions (not on procedure days)
• Weekend rounding + call coverage

🛑 REQUIREMENTS:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active PA License required
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Clean malpractice & licensing history
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days preferred)
• Updated CV required
⏱️ CREDENTIALING:
• ~90-day credentialing timeframe
• Temporary privileges available with clean file
• Gratis: 2 hours

• • Mix of procedures, inpatient consults, rounding, and limited clinic
• • Structured workflow: morning procedures + afternoon inpatient care
• 4–5 scheduled procedures/day (up to 8–9 on procedure-only days) and Epic EMR
