DESCRIPTION:
Ongoing weekend ED call and acute IP unassigned consults. Coverage F 5p - M 7am. Coverage of two very close hospitals that share one provider number and medical staff. Approximately 60% of activity is at Baptist Medical Center and 40% is Mission Trail. Patients do transfer between the two facilities based on acuity and bed supply. Typically, Mission Trail sends patients to Baptist Medical Center.
Procedures: Urgent and emergent GI procedures as required for unassigned ER and inpatient needs
Support staff: Within the hospital procedure rooms & on the IP acute care
Proposed 6-month assignment


REQUIRED:
TX unrestricted license
Board certification ABIM or AOA
NPDB report within the last 10 days


COMPENSATION:
• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
• Malpractice insurance provided

SCHEDULE:
Friday at 5pm through Monday at 7am

• Friday 5p utill Monday 7a
• 6 month assignment
• Inpatient
