Responsibilities:
Provide specialized medical care in Gastroenterology to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Perform diagnostic procedures, assessments, and consultations related to digestive disorders.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Interpret and utilize Cerner EMR system for medical record keeping.
Participate in on-call coverage for gastroenterology-related emergencies and consultations.
Maintain current knowledge of the latest developments and trends in Gastroenterology.
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board-certified in Gastroenterology.
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills in Gastroenterology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in using Cerner or willingness to learn.
