About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive inpatient, clinic, and OR gastroenterology services Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM. The clinician will manage daily pager call from 8AM-4PM plus 10 days per month of 24/7 call including one weekend. Procedure responsibilities include morning sessions 8AM-12PM Monday-Friday plus Wednesday afternoon 12PM-4PM with approximately 11-15 cases daily. Clinic sessions occur four afternoons per week managing approximately 8 patients daily with annual scope volume reaching 2,200 procedures. The position requires managing 2-4 new inpatient consults daily with potential follow-up requirements.
