Aya Locums has an immediate opening in Eau Claire, WI for a Gastroenterologist. The client is needing clinic and call support for the endoscopy suite. Primarily colonoscopies and EGDs. Consult and follow hospitalized patients..

Specialty: Gastroenterology
Start Date: 5/3/23
Contract Length: 1 year
Shift Details: On site and on call.
Schedule: Weekdays 7a-5p. Overnight call Monday-Thursday. Weekends 24hr call coverage Friday 5p-Monday 7a.
Work Details:
• Support Staff: 9 MDs, 7 APPs, RNs, endoscopy techs.
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 14-20 days/month including 2 weekends.
• Patients per day: Average 4 consults, 7 follow up and 3 procedures
• Patient Population/Age: Adult-Geriatric
• EMR: Epic
• Special Procedures: Will need to know how to use a scope to look for polyps, gastric binding for gi bleeds and other procedures in the endoscopy suite. Primarily colonoscopies and EGDs. Consult and follow hospitalized patients.
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required
• License Required: WI license- will help obtain if needed
• Certifications Required: BLS
• Minimum Experience Required: 0-1 years+
