Job Title: Locum Physician Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Location: Marshfield, WI 54449
EMR: Cerner
Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call

Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions and disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and imaging studies, to aid in accurate diagnoses.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using the Cerner system.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with a Gastroenterology subspecialty.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Wisconsin.
DEA registration for prescribing medications.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Cerner.
