Job description

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a community-based primary care practice serving underserved patient populations in the Sacramento area.

Position Details
Outpatient primary care opportunity
Provide comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications and treatment plans within scope of practice
Provide preventive care and health maintenance services
Deliver patient education and counseling
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Participate in care coordination and referral management
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Community-focused practice serving underserved and vulnerable populations

Schedule:
Full-time
Monday–Friday
Daytime clinic hours
Patient Volume: 3 patients per hour


Clinical Responsibilities:
Comprehensive patient evaluations
Acute care management
Chronic disease management
Preventive medicine and wellness care
Medication management
Patient and family education
Coordination of specialty referrals
Documentation and compliance with quality standards

Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner
Current California RN license
Current California Nurse Practitioner license
Current Nurse Practitioner board certification
Physician Assistant
Current California Physician Assistant license
NCCPA certification
Physician Assistant certificate
Additional Requirements
BLS certification required
DEA certification required
Minimum of 2 years recent experience (Primary Care, Family Medicine)
Experience caring for underserved, low-income, or homeless populations preferred
Active California driver's license required
Preferred Languages
Spanish
Russian
Farsi
Pashto/Pushto

Compensation & Benefits:
Annual compensation: $145,600 – $215,000
