Locums NP/PA for Homeless Shelter Clinic Needed in Colorado

Job description

Specialty: Physical Health/Behavioral Health (FNP or PA preferred, PMHNP considered only if they are very comfortable with physical health and feel it’s firmly within their scope)

Start Date: February 2025
Contract Length: TBD but I am thinking 3 months (covering a maternity leave)
Shift Details: 8a-5p
Schedule: Monday and Friday, weekly

Work Details:
Support staff: One MA and one RN. A therapist and case manager are also available to help with referrals, therapy and other client needs
Patients per day: ~12 pts per day
Patient population/age: Clinic located within a homeless shelter - Co-occurring behavioral health and physical health needs
Common Clinical Focus: Foot care, wound care, Infectious Disease
Skills Required: Needs to be able to do physical medicine, some wound management, manage behavioral health and substance use (sometime active intoxication)

Requirements:
Board Certification: FNP preferred, PMHNP considered only if they are very comfortable with physical health and feel it’s firmly within their scope
Credentialing Timeframe: Outpatient, very fast credentialing
