Hourly Rate: $45/hr
Employment Type: Full-time (Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM)

✅ Qualifications
✔️ NYS Registered Nurse (active license)
✔️ BSN or approved RN program graduate
✔️ 2+ years acute care experience (medicine/surgery or special care preferred)
✔️ 1–3 years acute care utilization review experience
✔️ Post-graduate writing/editing proficiency
✔️ EMR knowledge including coding, quality, charting
✔️ Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
✔️ Writing sample or publication required

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Review NYS Dispute Resolution & External Review determinations for clinical accuracy, math, grammar, and formatting
✔️ Use checklists to complete thorough pre-final reviews
✔️ Apply clinical and mathematical edits using case documentation
✔️ Collaborate with team members to elevate quality
✔️ Perform detailed content, grammar, and reference checks before release
✔️ Track and trend errors to improve staff performance
✔️ Offer technical assistance and participate in team huddles
