✅ Qualifications
✔️ Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or approved RN program
✔️ Current New York State RN license
✔️ 3+ years in Med-Legal review; 1–3 years in acute care utilization review/appeals
✔️ Proficiency with electronic medical records, research, and documentation
✔️ Strong written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
✔️ Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct comprehensive reviews up to the appeal level, including chart screening, regulatory guidance research, and final determinations
✔️ Provide technical support, training, and clarification to administrative and clinical staff
✔️ Participate in collaborative staff training and huddles
✔️ Contribute to fair and accurate resolution of healthcare disputes
✔️ Perform other duties as assigned
