✅ Qualifications
✔️ Education – Graduate of an accredited nursing program
✔️ License – Active, unrestricted New York State RN license
✔️ Experience – 1–3 years in acute care utilization review and appeals
✔️ Technical Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
✔️ Soft Skills – Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct utilization reviews, including appeals and chart evaluations
✔️ Complete electronic worksheets and make level-one denial decisions
✔️ Perform quality reviews and clinical data collection
✔️ Analyze patient charts and document findings accurately
✔️ Support and train administrative staff as a clinical resource
✔️ Participate in team training sessions and staff meetings
✔️ Perform additional duties to support organizational goals
