TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as an Adult Day Health Coordinator / Supervisor for a community-based Adult Day Health program in North Carolina. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with all Adult Day Health and PACE regulatory requirements while supporting high-quality care for an aging and medically complex population.

FLSA Status: Exempt
Setting: Adult Day Health Center / PACE-aligned program

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Health Center
Supervise, orient, train, and evaluate Certified Nursing Assistants and support staff
Serve as the clinical triage nurse and provide 24-hour care coordination
Ensure compliance with Adult Day Health, PACE, federal, state, and local regulations
Conduct and oversee nursing assessments per regulatory and organizational standards
Coordinate participant care plans and ensure timely follow-through on provider orders
Serve as liaison between clinical staff, administration, participants, and families
Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance activities
Manage vendors, supplies, equipment, and departmental workflows
Assist with budget development and monitoring
Participate in on-call rotation as assigned

Clinical & Operational Duties
Direct participant care based on nursing assessments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve care issues
Communicate with families and connect participants to internal and external resources
Ensure Adult Day Health representation at daily operational meetings
Maintain accurate documentation and written reports
Support caregiver, staff, and participant education initiatives

Qualifications
Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license required
BSN preferred
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience
At least 1 year of experience working with geriatric, frail, or elderly populations
Proven experience overseeing teams of CNAs in a healthcare setting
Experience in home care, long-term care, or Adult Day Health strongly preferred
PACE experience highly desirable

Please note: Candidates with doctorate‑level degrees will not be considered, as this role is not aligned with that level of qualification.

Ability to manage complex clinical and interpersonal situations professionally

Comfortable teaching, mentoring, and facilitating group learning
Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs

Additional Requirements
Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to meet all competency requirements prior to independent practice
Must be able to perform duties involving potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
