Physician - Family Medicine - Full & Part-Time Available

Damar is currently seeking a licensed Physician with significant experience screening and treating children, adolescents and adults. This is an excellent opportunity for a family physician or someone similar who is looking for a more flexible schedule to work with a great organization where you can share your skills and expertise. Your responsibility will include serving the residential clients of Damar's campus as well as staffing our newly established Damar Health Services Clinic that serves families and individuals in the Indianapolis area.

Recently, Damar has recognized the need for accessible healthcare in our local community. After years of providing medical care to our residential clients, we are excited to expand our medical services into the community as we seek to become a Federally Qualified Health Center. For more than 50 years, Damar Services has been a leader in providing services to children and adults facing life's toughest challenges related to intellectual, developmental and behavioral disabilities and autism. With headquarters on Indianapolis’ southwest side, Damar has several locations locally and across the state and over 1,000 employees. As one of the largest not-for-profit organizations in the state, Damar offers a full continuum of services to include residential and community-based treatment, foster care, public and private schools, outpatient behavioral health services and ABA Autism Services.

The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of each service location. Experience or interest working in mental health or with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disablities is ideal. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the appropriate specialty practice (e.g. Family Practice or Internal Medicine) techniques and treatment processes. They must also be able to demonstrate client centered values of Trauma Informed Care as well as work effectively with a broad team of other health care professionals.
