✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Review and adjudicate highly complex or specialized medical cases
✔️ Provide expert consultation and training to DDDS adjudicative staff
✔️ Order and interpret ancillary medical tests to resolve case discrepancies
✔️ Ensure strict compliance with DDDS protocols and federal regulations
✔️ Participate in quarterly meetings to refine adjudication processes

✅ Qualifications
✔️ MD/DO degree with board certification or specialization in Neurology, Otolaryngology, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery
✔️ Active Washington State medical license authorized to practice in WA
✔️ 2+ years post-graduate specialty training
✔️ 5+ years DDDS consultation experience (strongly preferred)
Technical Skills:
✔️ Advanced proficiency in medical record interpretation, ancillary test ordering/review, and federal disability guidelines
Soft Skills:
✔️ Strong critical thinking, mentorship abilities, and collaborative communication
Additional Requirements:
