About the clinician's workday

This position offers weekday shifts of either Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a daily patient load of 10-15. Required qualifications include BLS and ACLS certification, board certification, an active New York license, at least two years of recent experience, recent Epic EMR experience, Level III trauma experience, and general and robotic surgery experience (orthopedic experience is a plus). The role involves first assisting in the OR and the ability to cover the floor if needed, primarily during longer assignments; otherwise, duties are OR-focused. Weekend rounding and call nights may be required to fill call gaps, with minimal call coverage needed in January through March, but heavier call demands expected during the first week of April due to staff vacations.
