A facility is seeking a General Surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
About the facility location
While on assignment in Vidalia, Georgia, visit the historic district for dining, the Vidalia Onion Fountain, or the Altama Museum of Art and History!
About the clinician's workday
It is a full-time need with clinic and surgical duties Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., plus 7a-7a weekend call, structured as 7 on/7 off. Daily rates must include at least two patient hours. Licensed candidates are required. With no employed general surgeons as of 1/6/26, the site needs one to two physicians to cover the office (Mon-Wed or Mon-Fri) and provide daily hospital call coverage, with the goal of minimizing physician turnover to maintain patient continuity and satisfaction.
