Vascular Surgeon Opening near Chicago on the Beach

Location: Great reverse commute opportunity! Just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, this city is next to Lake Michigan in a historic, resort area with a desirable community environment in which to live and work. The area has an excellent cost of living, is family-friendly and safe, and has an award winning school system. Facility: With 13 hospitals, this health care system is one of the Midwest's largest. Additionally they have 260+ total locations, many of which are nationally recognized Centers of Health Care Excellence, employing over 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers. Opportunity: Opening is for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Vascular Surgeon to join their team in a well-established practice. Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Work in a new hospital built in 2019 with state-of-the-art facilities close to Chicago and the Lake Michigan Beaches. Schedule is divided among Clinic, Surgery and the Cath Lab. Emergency Room call is 1:3 and the physician covers their own weekly call. Superb support staff includes an RN, an MA and two vascular ultrasound technicians in an on-site Vascular Lab.
