**General Surgeon Needed for Call Coverage in Iowa**

Job description

We are working with a hospital in Iowa that is needing a General Surgeon for call coverage 1-2 weeks/month:

Specialty: General Surgeon
Setting: Inpatient
Start Date: ASAP - ongoing
Requirements: BC GS, IA license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, ACLS
Pay: $1800/day + $300/hr OT call back after 2 hrs of gratis + travel/lodging + malpractice insurance
Schedule: 24 hr call coverage….7-10 days/month
Call: yes
Patient Load/Age: 0-3 call backs per shift
Procedures: all general cases (u/l endos required) + c-sections
COVID vax needed: yes
Credentialing timeframe: 30 – 60 days
