Job description

Must Haves: (5+ years of texperience)
• Bachelors
• medical license from the Florida Board of Medicine or the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine, depending on whether the physician is an MD (Doctor of Medicine) or a DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program or accredited university
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine

Preferred:
• Internal Medicine Specialty

Key Actions/Responsibilities:
• Focuses on outpatient medicine, health maintenance, continuity of care, and disease prevention
• Working closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists, and care coordinators, to ensure coordinated care and effective communication regarding patient needs and treatment plans.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) or medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols.

• Smaller office, one internal medicine doctor, 1 family nurse practitioner
Might have to be on call, if so minimum, via phone only
