Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery) – Selma, AL | $29/hr | Per-Diem (#SM0004)
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Per-Diem Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit at a medical center in Selma, AL. This role offers flexible scheduling, immediate access to open shifts, and the opportunity to work with a skilled, collaborative healthcare team.

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
✔️ Active, unencumbered Alabama RN License
✔️ Minimum of 6 months RN work experience
✔️ CPR Certification (BLS preferred)
✔️ Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, cultural competency, adaptability, and positive attitude
✔️ Credentialing Requirements: Clean background check, negative TB test, annual physical, COVID-19 vaccination, and other facility/agency requirements
✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Provide specialized nursing care through all stages of labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
✔️ Continuously assess maternal and fetal well-being, identifying deviations and initiating appropriate interventions
✔️ Coach, support, and educate patients and their support persons on labor techniques, pain management, and the birth process
✔️ Assist physicians or midwives during deliveries, surgical procedures (e.g., C-sections), and emergencies, ensuring a safe environment
✔️ Provide immediate care and stabilization to newborns and coordinate transition to postpartum or neonatal care units
