Locum Tenens Oncology NP / PA Coverage in South Sacramento, CA

This facility is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

W2 position. Overtime after 8 hours provided. Benefits coverage can also be negotiated.

Credentialing finalization takes about 30-60 days (45 day average). Must be Board Certified.

• Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Clinic Patients and Infusion Center.
• Types of Cases: Bone Marrow Biopsies, Breast Cancer Experience, Coordinating emails with ancillary services and outside referrals, ordering oncology tests, and refilling prescriptions. The provider will see patients at the Infusion Center as well as round with the infusion team in the mornings.
• PPD/Census: Estimated : Estimated 5-8 patients on average but rounding on a handful. Will work in basket work as well (Emails, Follow-ups, etc.).
