ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (NP/PA) – ONCOLOGY
Join a collaborative, growing Oncology service line at a 127-bed Level III Trauma center. As the largest hospital on the Southern Coast of Oregon, we serve a catchment area of over 320,000. We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Caregiver committed to serving our amazing community.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (Four 10-hour shifts)
Work-Life Balance: No nights or weekends
Call: Paid call, shared equally among providers
Setting: Primarily Outpatient with occasional Inpatient consults
Team Composition: Currently staffed by 2 Oncologists and 1 Locum NP; supported by a high-caliber, collegial nurse infusion team.
FACILITY & SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS
Affiliation: Member of the OHSU Knight Cancer Network (Oregon Health & Sciences University).
Comprehensive Services: Radiation therapy, chemotherapy, medical oncology, cancer support services, and clinical trials.
Modern Infrastructure: New 19-chair infusion room, in-house pharmacy, nurse navigation, radiation oncology, and on-site lab.
Technology: Efficiency with EPIC software interfaces required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Average Annual Salary: $135,626.50 (Based on significant experience at 40 hrs/week).
Bonuses: Potential Sign-on Bonus (to be discussed at interview).

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
LICENSURE & CERTIFICATION
Board Certification: Required (NP or PA).
Oregon License: Required (or willing to obtain).
NP Candidates: AONCP certification (or in process) is Required.
PA Candidates: Oncology Subspecialty/Additional Oncology Training is Highly Preferred.
Experience: Prior experience as an Oncology NP/PA in Inpatient or Outpatient settings is Highly Preferred.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICS
Regional Ties: Must have ties to Oregon (e.g., family in the area or prior residency).
Background: Must have a clean malpractice history and background.
Documentation: A copy of the most recent NPDB self-query report (within 30 days) is required.
