Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time assignment in Northwest California, supporting both inpatient and outpatient oncology services with scheduled clinic hours and call coverage.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: April 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 shifts per week, 4 weeks per month
• Call Schedule:
– 1 week of call every 3 weeks
– Weekdays: Clinic during the day with evening phone-only call
– Weekends: 24-hour phone-only call
– No onsite call-back required

Work Details
• Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per shift
• Support Staff: Yes
• EMR/Charting: Epic

Practice Setting
• Inpatient and Outpatient

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• State License: California preferred; will consider providers needing to obtain CA license
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current hospital-based clinical activity in Hematology/Oncology
• Certifications: BLS
