Job description
-Facility is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join their established, high-performing team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with dedicated outreach to rural communities in Lamar and Trinidad, delivering compassionate, world-class cancer care across southern Colorado.
-The physician will be primarily based in Colorado Springs, practicing with the Cancer Care team at the Sign up or sign in for contact information role includes providing outreach hematology/oncology services approximately six (6) days per month in Lamar & Trinidad
-Travel to these locations (2–3 hours from Colorado Springs) is required to support rural communities with access to specialty cancer care.
Job Description:
-Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both outpatient and affiliated clinic settings.
-Join an established practice consisting of 12 physicians, 8 APPs, and a robust multidisciplinary support team, including nurse navigators and social workers.
-Deliver dedicated outreach services (up to 6 days per month) to rural clinics in Lamar, CO and Trinidad, CO (approximately 2–3 hours from Colorado Springs).
-Collaborate closely with the comprehensive cancer center team based in Colorado Springs for coordinated patient care.
-Practice within a physician-led medical group focused on innovation, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes.
-Utilize EPIC EMR, implemented system-wide.
-Participate in a flexible four-day work week model.
-Share in limited call responsibilities within the group.
-Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered cancer care programs.
-Support and engage in clinical growth opportunities within an academically anchored health system.
Compensation and Benefits:
-Base Salary: $489,000 – $543,000 annually

Requirements
-Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology – [REQUIRED]
-Colorado Medical License (must obtain prior start) – [REQUIRED]
-DEA License – [REQUIRED]
-Willingness to provide rural outreach (Lamar & Trinidad ~6 days/month) – [REQUIRED]
-DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - [REQUIRED] * no exemptions
-BLS certification

- Four 10-hour day shifts per week (approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with up to 6 outreach clinic days per month in Lamar and Trinidad
- Minimal to none; limited call rotation may include occasional weekend coverage
