The facility operates as a solo hematologist/oncologist practice supported by an advanced practice provider and registered nurses.

About the clinician's workday

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 8-10 patients per day in the clinic setting with light inpatient consults in the morning. Clinical responsibilities include treating a mixed population of hematology and oncology patients in a solo hematologist/oncologist practice supported by 1 APP and registered nurses, with no call coverage required. Board certification in Medical Oncology and an active Georgia license or IMLC are mandatory requirements for this position. Temporary privileges are available, and the clinician must maintain documentation through the facility's electronic medical record system for all patient encounters.
