About the clinician's workday

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings, managing 18-20 patients per shift during a three-day weekly schedule from Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Clinical responsibilities include conducting 15-20 new consultations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating ongoing care with nursing staff and support teams. The position requires board certification in Hematology/Oncology with prescriptive authority and includes call coverage responsibilities for nights and weekends to ensure continuous patient care availability.
