About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care across both inpatient and clinic settings with 95% clinic-based work and 5% hospital coverage. Responsibilities include managing 22 patients daily with 2-3 new consultations, developing individualized treatment plans for both hematologic and oncologic conditions, and maintaining a 70% oncology to 30% hematology patient mix. The position requires 7a-7a EMTALA call coverage with 3-8 potential shifts and every other weekend call from Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM. The clinician must maintain board certification in Hematology/Oncology and coordinate ongoing care with nursing staff and support teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
