Inpatient Hematologist (Malignant Heme) – Locum Tenens
📍 Minneapolis, MN
🕐 Full-Time | Call Coverage | Malignant Hematology Required

We are urgently seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist with strong experience in malignant hematology for a full-time inpatient locum assignment in Minneapolis, MN. This role includes inpatient rounding, infusion center support, and call coverage.

📌 Position Details
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3–6 months (with possible extension or permanent conversion)

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call coverage required (Evenings and weekends; phone and occasional onsite)

Setting:
Inpatient hospital care
Outpatient infusion center
Cancer institute outpatient clinic
Hospital Bed Size: 590
EMR: Epic

👨‍⚕️ Clinical Responsibilities
Full-scope inpatient malignant hematology care
Medical oncology and infusion center coverage
Manage patient load of 30–40 patients/day with APP support
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Support Staff
APPs available during daytime inpatient hours (both heme and onc)
No APP support during call hours or weekends

✅ Candidate Requirements
Board Certification: Required (Hematology; Oncology a plus)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Hematology/Oncology

Licensure:
Active MN License OR IMLC eligible
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS
Specialty Skills: Malignant hematology required; infusion experience preferred

⚡ Credentialing Details
Timeframe:
90 days with active MN license
120 days if license is needed

Emergency Privileges:
Available for candidates with a clean file
