Job Title: Locum Physician Internal Medicine: Hematology and Oncology

Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Board Status: Certified
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to patients with Hematology and Oncology conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.
Utilize the Epic EMR system for accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient records.
Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled, including nights and weekends, to address urgent patient needs.
Stay current with advances in Hematology and Oncology by attending conferences and continuing education activities.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Hematology and Oncology.
Valid medical license in the state of Missouri.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Proficiency in using Epic EMR or willingness to undergo training.
