About the clinician's workday

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology coverage during day and night shifts, managing 18-25 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing hematologic and oncologic conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings. Call coverage is required at a 1:3 ratio, and clinicians must maintain documentation through the Epic EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Medical Oncology is required for this assignment.
