Hematology/Oncology Physician Needed in Asheboro, NC

Coverage Details:
1. No Call
2. Schedule Details: M-F can consider 4 days or 5 days a week- Full time

Work Details:
1. Support staff: Full time medical oncologist & 2 APPs.
2. Department Description: High new patient volume
3. Patient Age Group: 18 & up, med center in Asheboro, on site lab, 2 to 3 exam rooms, LPN as clinical support staff, infusion site, Rad/Card on site, urgent care, full-service imaging, full pharmacy on site.
Does not treat acute leukemia patients Or peds as they transport them out.
4. Patient Volume: 15 to 18 patients a day

Requirements:
1. Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC
2. State License(s) / IMLC Req’d?: NC
3. Certifications Req’d?: BLS
4. DEA Req’d?: DEA
5. Minimum Experience Req’d: 1-2 years
6. Are vaccines mandatory?: no
7. Additional requirements/details to screen for?: well rounded Hem/Onc that is BC that can come in and fit with culture of Cone health

Privileging Timeframe: 60-90 days
