Hem/Onc Physician needed in OR!

Job description

-Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only. Full time (4 days a week).
-Work Details:
· Support staff: Yes
· Patients per shift: 15
· EMR: Epic
· Skills required:
· Will more than likely not do bone marrow biopsies
· Managing a panel of established patients as well as taking on new patients. The infusion room is in the same suite. May be asked about treatment perimeters for patients from the APP's or nurses. Expected to respond to any reaction that could occur during treatment and manage anything urgent until the rapid response team can get there.
· Physician signs chemotherapy orders and our nursing staff administer. Physician available to answer nurse questions and respond to patient reactions in the infusion section of the clinic.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
-Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes
· License Required: Active OR License
· DEA: Yes
· Certifications required: BLS
-Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days
