About the clinician's workday

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive cancer and blood disorder care in both clinic and inpatient settings managing 15 patients daily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and managing 1:2 call coverage Monday through Sunday. Documentation must be maintained through EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Medical Oncology and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements for this assignment.
