Job Title: Locum Physician-Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology
Location: Seattle, WA 98104
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Board Status: Certified

Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients with hematological and oncological disorders, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Perform procedures related to the specialty, such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and other relevant interventions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, imaging studies, and other relevant investigations.
Provide patient education regarding their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Participate in regular case discussions, grand rounds, and contribute to the ongoing education of medical staff and trainees.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using Epic, ensuring comprehensive documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Washington.
Proven experience in managing patients with hematological and oncological disorders.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records, preferably Epic.
